HIPPOCRATES - A public-private partnership

The HIPPOCRATES project aims to provide a sustainable knowledge base and biological sample resource to accelerate future research and development of innovative personalised treatment strategies in Psoriatic Arthritis.

“We anticipate that the advances provided by HIPPOCRATES will result in significant new developments that improve patients’ quality of life.”

Prof. Oliver FitzGerald
University College Dublin, Ireland Co-coordinator of the HIPPOCRATES project

“HIPPOCRATES is a very patient focused initiative. I hope that many people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis will provide information and samples that may help us to identify new treatments and maybe even a cure of the disease on the longer term.”

Maarten de Wit
EULAR Patient Research Partner, The Netherlands

“The advances will include the identification of sub-populations and endotypes, the validation of existing and identification of new biomarkers, improved imaging options and the development of a sustainable infrastructure for future PsA research”
